Few careers match the opportunity real estate offers in providing a service
that profoundly touches people’s lives. By choosing a career that provides
exceptional personal gratification, freedom to set your own schedule,
professional and monetary rewards, you will be choosing a career filled with
excitement and independence. Take a look at some of the specifics that a career
in real estate may hold for you.
Personal Gratification
As a real estate professional, you are in the business of helping people
realize their dreams. Whether it’s helping a couple buy their first home or
assisting a family relocate across the country for a new job, you will get to
meet all kinds of people in every situation imaginable. With that diversity
comes the satisfaction of directly influencing the quality of your customer’s
life.
Independence
Real estate can be a demanding profession, however it offers the freedom that
few other careers can offer. Although you must affiliate with a company such as
Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA to activate your license, you still have the
flexibility to work with your clients the way you want. You can make your own
schedule and define your own territory. You are your own boss.
Monetary Rewards
In real estate, the formula for success is working hard, plus working smart
equals greater income. The traditional barriers to increased income are gone.

In all parts of the world, real estate will always be bought and sold. It’s a
career you can take nearly anywhere. People will always need a place to live.
